First, let us remind you: You can consider the centers doing hair transplant under the supervision of a dermatologist or an aesthetic surgeon as reliable. Despite everything, we highly recommend you to consult your friends with relevant experience about any centers in your mind before making a decision, ask questions about hair transplant to the people in charge at that center and evaluate the answers given, and if possible, examine the before-after photos of hair transplants conducted at that center.
Established in 2002, DK Klinik is one of the oldest dermatology and hair transplant clinics in Antalya.
We have been committed to improving the physical appearance of tens of thousands of people and eliminating dermatological disorders since we opened our doors, so we have a high level of knowledge and experience.
In that way, we can transfer our experience and knowledge we have gained at DK Klinik has to our sub-unit DK Hair Transplant Unit, and we carry out hair transplants based on the latest medical guidelines and scientific evidence.
Let us explain some of our distinctive qualities:
1 – COMPETENCE OF OUR TEAM
One of the most important points that distinguishes us from other centers is that we have a team consisting of professionals who experts in their field.
Our team includes a dermatologist, a physician specializing in hair transplant, and nurses with experience in the field.
The members of our team have a certificate approved by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), which is recognized as an authority in hair transplant.
2 – CONSULTATION BASED ON TEAM WORK PRIOR TO SURGERY
Before any hair transplant procedure, our hair transplant team interviews the candidate for efficient consultation.
In this consultation, the team evaluates important factors such as the suitability of the donor site, availability of the recipient site, the dermatological availability of the hair follicles to be transplant, the number of grafts required, and determining the optimal hairstyle for the person.
The procedure is designed in accordance with the collective decision by the team members who are experts in their fields.
3 – ALL PROCEDURES ARE CONDUCTED UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A DOCTOR
The founder of DK Klinik, our dermatologist Specialist Dr. Meltem Şentürk is one of the first dermatologists to receive the “Certificate Dermato-Cosmetic Sciences” granted by Vrije University in Belgium, which is widely recognized in the global arena.
Dr. Şentürk is committed to following good medical practice and educating all members of the team with her expertise in the field and international vision.
We also closely follow the latest trends and advances in the field of hair transplant and streamline our system to improve our practice.
Our team members participate in international conferences and training programs to update their knowledge and to follow the latest developments.
4- TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE, TECHNOLOGICAL EQUIPMENT & ELABORATIVE APPROACH
The Hair Transplantation Unit of DK Klinik follows the most recent scientific developments and uses latest technology in all hair transplant operations.
Microscopic hair analysis: First, the availability of the hair in the donor site, where grafts are harvested, needs to be determined. This allows us to identify the regions that could yield the healthiest hair follicles for transplantation. The phase cycles of the hair to be transplanted (anagen – telogen – catagen) are determined, which enables maximum efficiency and best results.
Hairline design: The success of any hair transplant rests on how natural the hairline looks. Drawing a hairline solely based on the doctor’s own decision made by looking at it does not often produce the optimum outcome. With the device called “laser hairline designer”, developed for hairline design, most natural appearance can be achieved.
Opening of recipient site through sapphire blades: Opening small recipient sites where the harvested grafts will be transplanted is an important process in hair transplant. Most centers use ordinary scalpels for this process. However, we use special blades with sapphire tips to prepare recipient sites for grafts in ideal angle and depth.
Biopreservation fluid: Once the hair follicles are harvested from the donor site, they are placed and stored in physiological saline solution to maintain the viability of hair grafts and reduce hair follicle cell death.
In this process, the liquid is cooled to slow down the metabolism of living cells in the hair follicles and prolong their life span.
Although such a procedure prolong the viability of hair cells, physiological saline solution and the cold temperature fail to offer an ideal environment for storage. Cold storage is necessary but it also brings some disadvantages. The same problem also applies to human organ transplants.
In organ and tissue transplants, a special biopreservation fluid is used for storage to maximize the viability and durability of cells:
We use this special solution to store hair transplant grafts outside of the body, which significantly enhances the quality of hair transplant procedures. The solution prevents the increase of free radicals while grafts outside of the body, minimize pH fluctuations, provides ideal osmotic balance and ionic concentrations for follicle cells, as well as nutrients to stop cell death.
Thanks to this solution, hair grafts can be safely stored for several days before transplant. You can check out scientific studies into this type of solutions at the following links

DK Klinik “Hair Transplant Unit” stores the grafts harvested during hair transplant procedures in a special biopreservation solution called HypoThermosol®.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma): A plasma derived from the patient’s own blood rich in blood-platelet is effectively used in hair transplant procedures.
PRP is also very effective both during hair transplant and after hair transplant in order to make hair grow faster and healthier.
DK Klinik “Hair Transplant Unit” applies PRP on the hair immediately after the hair transplant procedure is completed. In addition, PRP application is repeated 15 days after the surgery.
Microscopic extraction of hair follicles: Once the hair follicles are harvested from the donor site, they are classified into several groups based on their qualities and the number of hair roots they contain. This process is done under the microscope specifically developed for this process, not with the naked eye.
5- NO EXPECTED COSTS
Before and after hair transplantation, there are some procedures that need to be carried out in order to achieve a healthy result, and you need to use certain products to that end. These include detailed blood analysis, special shampoo and lotion, several medications, hair band, hat etc.
The cost of these procedures and products we use for hair transplant at DK Klinik is included in the price we calculate. Besides, we do not charge any additional costs for the PRP application or other special products used during and after the hair transplant.
Once we have agreed upon a price, we add no further costs to that price. We do not charge an additional fee for the products we use to improve our service quality and success rate.
6- FLAWLESS FOLLOW-UP PROCESS
An individual record is created in our system for each person receiving hair transplant at our clinic. We keep this record on a special CRM system developed entirely for us.
The records include various data about the patient and procedure such as how many grafts are transplanted, the quality of the donor site, and the PRP applications.
In addition, we communicate with our patients at certain intervals to check the success of the operation and to avoid any possible negative situations, ask for photos showing the latest state of hair in order to keep track of our success rate closely and monitor the customer satisfaction.
7- WE MEASURE OUR SERVICE QUALITY THROUGH QUESTIONNAIRES AND MYSTERY CUSTOMER SYSTEM
As DK Hair Klinik, we are deeply committed to improve our services on a continuous basis, so we care about any feedback from you. We use different methods to monitor our service quality, including surveys and see the patient feedback as an opportunity to keep improving.
We also inspect our service quality through mystery customer system. If you want to provide a positive or negative feedback about our services, you can contact us here.
8- BUSINESS MODEL BASED ON INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

Our clinic is a member of Turkish Dermatology Association.
We also adopt and are deeply committed to the following principles:
- We make continuous efforts to enhance the success of hair transplant operations. For this purpose, we developed the AQICS method. The AQICS method reflects the cultural structure of our institution.
- Transparency is one of our core values. Offering the best assistance to our patients and honesty are key parts of our culture. We also adopt the principle of transparency within our institution. We openly discuss our problems and seek to solve them through dialogue.
- Learning is a never ending process for us. We constantly attend local and international training and conferences to keep our knowledge up-to-date, learn about new developments, and share our experiences with other professionals in the field.
- For us, learning is not just about following scientific publications. We seek to know our patients better, improve our empathy skills and learn from the dialogues with our patients and other team members at our clinic.
- All of the materials and products we use at our clinic are in accordance with international standards. We sterilize our surgical instruments by surgical standards using an autoclave, which is a pressure chamber that subjects them to high-pressure saturated steam to inactivate microorganisms. In that way, we can minimize the risk of any possible infection.
